For more information, refer to the program flyer and FAQ

Learn AI and ML techniques to analyze real world problems. Frame the right questions to seek out answers from large data sets. Conduct foundational research working with Professors and Professionals. The program provides an excellent opportunity to interact and learn from experts in the field of data science.

There are two modules in the 2021 Summer Program

Summer Bootcamp

In this module, you will learn the basics of python programming, data analysis and visualization using advanced python libraries. The summer bootcamp is an intense 2 week program that will require you to attend scheduled lectures online during the mornings and work in the evenings on assignments. You are encouraged to interact with mentors throughout the duration of the program over chat or 1-1 sessions. The bootcamp is for high school students with a proficiency in advanced mathematical courses (AP calculus or AP statistics) and basic knowledge in programming.

The bootcamp is scheduled between June 26 – July 10, 2021.

 Summer Research 2021

In this module, you will do foundational research by applying machine learning, data exploration and visualization techniques on real world data sets, You will explore data, build predictive models, evaluate and optimize your model to complete your analyses.

You will be required to present your research findings at the end of 5 weeks. The research project is self-paced with weekly checkpoint meetings with the mentors and advisors. You are encouraged to interact with your mentors throughout the entire duration of the program via online chat and 1-1 sessions as required to complete your project.

The research program is intended for self-driven rising juniors and seniors and the admission process is highly selective. Qualifying students will be notified by email.

The 2021 Summer research program is scheduled between July 11 – Aug 15 and is currently filled
