PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The program includes 8 sessions that introduce students to essential AI concepts and their real-world applications. Students will explore AI through real-life case studies, developing relevant skills as they progress. They will also engage in hands-on labs where they’ll learn to analyze data using Tableau, applying their knowledge to reinforce key concepts. For the capstone project, students will work with a dataset related to a social issue aligned with a UN Sustainable Development Goal. They will use Tableau to create visualizations and extract insights, ultimately addressing complex challenges within their chosen domain.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Week 1 & 2 | Introduction to Data Science and Tableau – Learn to import and export datasets and navigate the Tableau tool. Explore numerical and categorical attributes and different types of visualization graphs. |
Week 3 & 4 | Data Analysis with Tableau – Use Tableau to filter and analyze subsets of larger datasets and learn about central tendencies. Hands-on lab working with a large dataset to perform data analysis. |
Week 5 & 6 | Data Cleaning and Capstone Introduction – Learn data cleaning techniques and get introduced to the Capstone project dataset. |
